All-female hard rock outfit THE VIOLENT HOUR have released “Already Dead,” a new single accompanied by an official music video. Combining heavy guitar riffs, raw energy and an unapologetic rock ’n’ roll attitude, the track embraces the darker side of the band’s sound while delivering a defiant message about survival. “Already Dead” also offers another glimpse into the band’s upcoming debut album, Pretty Girls Do Ugly Things, scheduled for release on January 22, 2027.
Led by vocalist Carla Harvey, THE VIOLENT HOUR bring together an all-female lineup with a shared passion for loud guitars, rebellious energy and uncompromising rock music. The band draw on hard rock, punk and alternative influences, building a sound that balances heavy instrumentation with memorable hooks and a raw, confrontational edge. Their identity centers on individuality and creative freedom, refusing to soften their approach or conform to expectations.
“Already Dead” embraces the idea of reaching a breaking point and discovering that survival can become its own form of defiance. The song turns darkness into fuel, channeling the feeling of having nothing left to lose into an aggressive, hard-hitting statement. Its official music video complements that attitude with macabre imagery and dark theatricality, reinforcing the band's willingness to explore uncomfortable themes without losing their sense of rebellious fun.
The single previews Pretty Girls Do Ugly Things, THE VIOLENT HOUR’s upcoming debut album, due January 22, 2027. With “Already Dead,” the band continue establishing their identity through a combination of heavy riffs, unapologetic attitude and a refusal to play by the rules. THE VIOLENT HOUR are ready to make their mark, and they are doing it on their own terms.
