THE BRAVE Return With “STATIC” In New Official Music Video

Brisbane metalcore outfit THE BRAVE have unveiled “STATIC,” their latest official music video and another chapter in the band's ongoing return to the Australian heavy music scene. Formed in Brisbane in 2013, THE BRAVE quickly established themselves with their Endless EP before releasing their debut album Epoch in 2016 and follow-up Aura in 2019. After a period away, the band returned in 2024 with “Breaking Out,” marking their first new material since 2019.

THE BRAVE have built their sound around the emotional weight and aggression of modern metalcore, combining heavy guitar work, forceful vocals, atmospheric passages and memorable choruses. Their catalogue has previously seen them explore themes of loss, isolation, frustration and personal struggle, while tracks such as “Searchlights,” “Dreamless” and “Burn” helped establish their place within Australia's metalcore landscape.

“STATIC” now adds another piece to that evolving catalogue, arriving as the Brisbane formation continue their renewed creative chapter. The release follows their 2024 comeback single “Breaking Out,” a track produced and mixed by Troy Brady that marked a return to the band's heavy and atmospheric approach after their extended hiatus.

With “STATIC,” THE BRAVE continue moving forward while carrying the identity that has defined them throughout their career. The new official music video gives the latest track its visual counterpart as the Brisbane metalcore veterans continue their return to the stage and the wider Australian heavy music community.
