Polish modern metalcore outfit SERPENTS PL return with “D.R.E_A.M.E.R.,” a melodic new single that reveals a softer and more atmospheric side of the Szczecin-based five-piece. Released on September 24, 2026 through Out Of Line Music, the track is part of the three-song release that also features “Painkiller” and “Hope(less?).” While SERPENTS PL have built their identity around the collision of modern metalcore, alternative metal and electronic elements, “D.R.E_A.M.E.R.” places melody and emotion firmly at the heart of the song.
Driven predominantly by clean vocals, “D.R.E_A.M.E.R.” takes a more restrained and melodic approach than some of the band’s heavier material. Atmospheric electronics, guitars and carefully controlled dynamics create space for the vocals to carry the emotional weight, before SERPENTS PL introduce a brief burst of screams that adds extra intensity without disrupting the song’s predominantly clean and melodic character.
The new single continues a rapid rise for SERPENTS PL, who formed in Szczecin at the end of 2023 and quickly established themselves through a string of releases including “Tangled,” “Self-Made Suffering,” “Hourglass,” “The Void,” “Walking Disaster” and “The Signal.” Their growing live profile has also taken them across Europe, including a 23-date tour with Ektomorf in 2024, while their 2026 partnership with Out Of Line Music has opened another chapter for the band.
With “D.R.E_A.M.E.R.,” SERPENTS PL demonstrate that their sound is not defined by heaviness alone. The new track embraces atmosphere, melody and vulnerability, allowing the band to explore a different emotional space while keeping the modern edge that has shaped their identity.
