Los Angeles hard rock / modern metal outfit STITCHED UP HEART have released “EX-TERMINATION,” a new single accompanied by an official music video and taken from their latest album, MEDUSA. Fronted by the unmistakable Alecia “Mixi” Demner, the band continue to combine hard-hitting guitar work, dark atmosphere and powerful vocals into a sound that balances aggression with infectious melodic hooks. “EX-TERMINATION” brings another forceful chapter to the band’s catalogue, embracing a heavier edge while maintaining the theatrical character that has become central to their identity.
The track leans into STITCHED UP HEART’s ability to turn emotional intensity into an explosive rock statement. Heavy riffs and driving rhythms provide the foundation, while Mixi’s commanding vocal delivery gives the song its defining character. The contrast between the instrumental weight and the melodic elements keeps the arrangement moving, creating a track that feels equally suited to the stage and the band's darker visual aesthetic.
MEDUSA continues the band’s exploration of themes surrounding transformation, inner conflict and personal strength. Drawing on the symbolism associated with its title, the album presents a world where vulnerability and defiance coexist, allowing STITCHED UP HEART to explore different shades of their sound without abandoning the heavy rock foundation that first established them. “EX-TERMINATION” adds another aggressive highlight to that collection, bringing the album’s darker side into focus.
With the official music video now available, “EX-TERMINATION” gives MEDUSA another moment in the spotlight and reinforces STITCHED UP HEART’s commitment to bold, uncompromising hard rock. Driven by Mixi’s powerful presence and the band’s blend of heaviness and melody, the track delivers another dose of the intensity that has made STITCHED UP HEART a recognizable name in the modern metal and hard rock scene.
