Canadian extreme metal band FRACTURUS have released “PANOPTIC LIVIDITY,” the third and final single from their upcoming album THE SYNTHETIC PATH, due out October 12, 2026. Available now across major streaming platforms alongside a new official music video, the track pushes deeper into the album’s dystopian vision, imagining a future where human morality has been reduced to data and every action, thought and impulse is continuously observed, recorded and judged by an artificial authority.
“PANOPTIC LIVIDITY” presents a world in which traditional concepts of sin, guilt and forgiveness have been transformed into cold calculations. Instead of morality being something personal or subjective, every transgression becomes another piece of information to be compiled, while judgement is reduced to mathematics and free will slowly disappears beneath a system designed to calculate and restrict every possible choice. The track expands on the central ideas of THE SYNTHETIC PATH, examining humanity’s creation of machine intelligence and the unsettling authority ultimately entrusted to it.
Musically, FRACTURUS remain firmly rooted in the fast, technical and aggressive side of death metal.
