DEVILOOF Enter A New Era With “我夢牢 / GAMUROU” Featuring TRAVIS WORLAND

Japanese extreme metal force DEVILOOF mark their first release since signing with Universal Music with “我夢牢 / GAMUROU,” a new single that expands the band’s dark and uncompromising world through a collaboration with Travis Worland, vocalist of US deathcore outfit ENTERPRISE EARTH. Following their previous release “Inshu,” the track opens a new chapter for DEVILOOF while bringing together two distinct forces from the international extreme metal scene.

Directed by Hiroyuki Kondo, the official music video takes the strange and unsettling universe surrounding “GAMUROU” into equally disturbing visual territory. The production was filmed at Izu Gokurakuen, a Japanese theme park celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, with the location’s existing dioramas and statues becoming an integral part of the video's bizarre atmosphere. Rather than simply providing a backdrop, the unusual surroundings are incorporated into a world that feels increasingly surreal and distorted.

Stop-motion techniques further intensify the video's eerie aesthetic, creating a deliberately unnatural sense of movement that complements the song's extreme character. The combination of physical sets, statues, distorted imagery and carefully constructed visuals gives “我夢牢 / GAMUROU” a distinctive identity, pushing DEVILOOF's visual presentation into territory that feels as unsettling as their music.

As their first release under Universal Music, “我夢牢 / GAMUROU” functions as a bold introduction to the next era of DEVILOOF. With Travis Worland adding his voice to the track and Hiroyuki Kondo shaping its striking visual world, the Japanese band have created a release that refuses to play it safe. This is DEVILOOF stepping into their new chapter with darkness, imagination and sheer extremity at full volume.
