DEAD BY WEDNESDAY Bring Heavy Grooves And Unfiltered Aggression To “Flesh”

New Haven, Connecticut metal outfit DEAD BY WEDNESDAY have released the official music video for “Flesh,” a hard-hitting single that captures the band’s commitment to heavy grooves and a powerful, old-school sound. Featuring current and former members of ELLEFSON, CRO-MAGS, and TANTRIC, the band brings together experience from across the heavy music scene for a track built to hit with force. The single was released through Combat Records and Mindsnap Music.

“Flesh” quickly became a fan favorite during the band’s recent live performances, prompting DEAD BY WEDNESDAY to select it as the first single from their upcoming EP, scheduled for early 2027. Guitarist Dave Sharpe described the track as one of the band’s toughest songs to date, while emphasizing that it retains the old-school DEAD BY WEDNESDAY identity and the heavy grooves that have long defined their sound.

The single was recorded and engineered by Jeff Weed, with mixing and mastering handled in Los Angeles by Ricky Bonazza, bassist for FEAR FACTORY and BUTCHER BABIES. The accompanying music video was filmed in New York City and directed by Grammy-nominated filmmaker Tom Flynn, whose work includes productions for established names across the metal world. Together, the track and video mark a new chapter for the band following its signing to the revived Combat Records label.

With “Flesh,” DEAD BY WEDNESDAY reaffirm their place in the American metal underground while setting the stage for their next release. The upcoming EP will arrive through Combat Records and Mindsnap Music in early 2027, with “Flesh” offering the first glimpse of what lies ahead. Heavy grooves, seasoned musicianship, and an uncompromising approach drive this latest statement from the New Haven outfit.
