German heavy hitters BITE have released “OBSOLETE,” a punishing new single featuring Skyler Conder of CELL and VARIALS, accompanied by an official music video. The collaboration brings together BITE’s uncompromising heaviness with Conder’s vicious vocal delivery, resulting in a track built around crushing riffs, aggressive rhythms and an intensely confrontational atmosphere. “OBSOLETE” showcases the band’s commitment to the darker, more abrasive side of modern heavy music, delivering a collaboration designed to hit hard from the opening moments.
The guest appearance from Conder adds another dimension to the track, bringing his unmistakable intensity into BITE’s sonic world. Known for his work with CELL and VARIALS, Conder has established himself within the contemporary heavy music scene through a vocal style that combines raw aggression with an overwhelming sense of urgency. His contribution makes “OBSOLETE” a meeting point between Germany’s heavy underground and the uncompromising American metalcore and hardcore scene.
Musically, “OBSOLETE” leans into sheer impact, combining dense guitar work, punishing low-end weight and relentless percussion. Rather than relying on melody to soften its edges, the track embraces a darker and more direct approach, allowing the instrumental heaviness and vocal exchanges to drive its momentum. The result is a collaboration that captures the raw energy of modern heavy music while giving both BITE and their guest room to make their presence felt.
With “OBSOLETE,” BITE reinforce their position among Germany’s heavy hitters, delivering a release that thrives on aggression and uncompromising execution. Featuring Skyler Conder, the new single brings together two distinct forces for one devastating track, while the official music video gives the collaboration its visual counterpart.
