NICOLAS CAGE FIGHTER - Roll Out the "Devil's Head" With New Song/Video

NICOLAS CAGE FIGHTER - a band name that is an amalgam of an iconic weirdo actor's name and a brutal, no-holds-barred, no escape death match. Sounds about right for a metal/hardcore band out of Ballarat, Victoria!

Today, they are announcing their new single 'Devil's Head', a song that will be a part of their forthcoming EP (the details of which will be announced at a later date), a concept record about Mental Health and defeating the 'Black Jackal'. Slipknot's festival website-turned-new-music-blog KNOTFEST.COM premiered the video yesterday saying that it is "...a pummelling track befitting their namesake."

The new single can be streamed/purchased at https://ditto.fm/devils-head.

'Black Jackal' was the title of their first single from the EP and was featured on Spotify's Homegrown & Heavy, Heavy Beatdown and New Metal Tracks playlists, and the video has cracked over 22k views on Youtube. The 'Black Jackal' of the title represents depression, the 'black dog' as it were. According to the band, 'Devil's Head' "...represents the symptoms of depression and the changes in you that come and go, the Devil rearing his head, as it were."

Formed in Ballarat late 2011, released their Debut EP "3350", a tribute to their home location's postcode in June 2013, disbanded in 2014 and reformed with a new lineup for a one-off show in 2019. January 2020 saw the release of a two track record HELL IN ME, recorded and mixed by Kye Blomeley.

Writing had begun in 2019 for the forthcoming EP, but due to unforeseen circumstances, one week into the recording they were faced with a state-wide lockdown. Recording for this single and the rest of the EP tracks was done by Kye Blomeley at K.B Audio and mixed and mastered by Roman Koester (The Red Shore, Deez Nuts, 50 Lions, Carpathian).

Over the years, Nicolas Cage Fighter have shared the stage with bands such as ATTILA (USA), THY ART IS MURDER (AUS), THICK AS BLOOD (USA), IWRESTLEDABEARONCE (USA), I DECLARE WAR (USA), DEEZ NUTS (AUS), IN HEARTS WAKE (AUS), AVERSIONS CROWN (AUS), SAVIOUR (AUS) and HELLIONS (AUS).
