SICKSENSE Tear Into Hypocrisy With “Seller’s Remorse” As New FUNERALS EP Arrives

SICKSENSE have unleashed their new four-track EP FUNERALS, arriving alongside the official music video for “Seller’s Remorse.” Released on September 25, 2026, the new record marks the latest chapter from the nu-metalcore outfit, whose sound brings together the groove and attitude of nu metal with metalcore aggression, djent precision, melodic passages and a dual-vocal attack. The EP follows the band’s 2025 debut full-length Cross Me Twice and continues their move into a darker, heavier and more experimental phase.

“Seller’s Remorse” takes direct aim at hypocritical backstabbers and those who attempt to tear down people who have worked harder than they have. SICKSENSE describe the track as a sarcastic and blunt response to people who, rather than building something meaningful themselves, choose to undermine others as a way of coping with their own shortcomings. The song showcases the confrontational attitude that has become an essential part of the band's identity, with Vicky Psarakis and Robby J. Fonts bringing their contrasting vocal styles into the attack.

FUNERALS contains four tracks: “Artificial Irrelevance,” “Newsflash,” “Seller’s Remorse” and “A Moment Of Violence.” The EP was mixed and produced by Joey Doherty and mastered by Tyler Smyth, with artwork created by Aleksandra Morozova. Across the record, SICKSENSE continue pushing their hybrid approach beyond straightforward genre boundaries, with the band's established combination of aggressive rhythms, rap-infused passages, melodic vocals, heavy riffs and atmospheric elements taking on a fresh direction.

Following the release, SICKSENSE are preparing to take FUNERALS to stages across North America, with headline dates alongside appearances supporting MUSHROOMHEAD, FEAR FACTORY, PRIMER 55, 40 BELOW SUMMER and EYES SET TO KILL. With “Seller’s Remorse,” the band deliver an unapologetic new statement, while FUNERALS demonstrates that SICKSENSE have no intention of standing still.
