Female-fronted Alternative Metal / Progressive band, Morphide have released a Jinjer's vocal cover of "I Speak Astronomy".
"I Speak Astronomy" is a progressive metal/mathcore song written by Ukrainian female-fronted band Jinjer. The song has a great mixture of clean and extreme vocals, which are retained in this vocal cover. It is a combination of expressive big-ranged clean vocals with elements of jazz and low powerful growls. Tatiana’s vocal tracks were removed completely to show full potential of the Morphide singer’s Eissa voice.
Morphide is a female-fronted alternative metal / progressive metal band, currently based in Copenhagen, Denmark. It started as a cover project on YouTube, gaining over 500,000 streams across all platforms. In June, 2019, Morphide releases their debut single called “Mayhem” on all streaming services. Morphide consists of two main composers and takes inspiration from such bands as Tesseract, Karnivool, Tool and Northlane.
