Last night at Revolver Club, the walls sweated violence and the floor cracked under the weight of sheer brutality as California's Sunami rolled into San Donà di Piave, backed by Paris' Headbussa and a crushing lineup of Italy’s most punishing underground acts.
TERRORIST (Beatdown – Northern Italy)
The chaos ignited the moment Terrorist hit the stage. Despite being one of the newest bands on the bill (est. 2024), they delivered a devastatingly powerful set. From the very first riff, the mosh pit erupted into violence, with crowdkilling and floor-punching madness exploding through the room like a warzone. Short, sharp, and loaded with intent, their set left no doubt: this band is one to watch in the beatdown scene.
BOWIE (Metallic Hardcore – Udine, Northern East Italy)
Bowie followed up with a ferocious burst of fast, metallic hardcore that kept the pit in full swing. Their energy was relentless, channeling pure aggression through tight riffs and venomous vocals. The crowd fed off it, and the atmosphere turned white-hot as the band's set intensified.
OLTREZONA (Metal/Hardcore – Venice, Italy)
By the time Oltrezona took the stage, the pit was primed. It took just two songs before the night’s first circle pit exploded. That wasn’t all — we also saw the first stage dive, a row of bodies moshing, and the debut of a brand-new track that hinted at an even heavier future for the Venetian crew. Their blend of metalcore grit and hardcore urgency hit hard and left a deep impression.
SLUG GORE (Moshgrind – Ravenna, Italy)
Then came Slug Gore, bringing the moshgrind filth from Ravenna. Their set sparked the first crowd surfer of the night, adding a new layer of chaos to an already unhinged crowd. The circle pit made another appearance, and stage dives started to pile up — a testament to the sheer intensity of their sound.
HEADBUSSA (Hardcore – Paris, France)
Flying the French flag, Headbussa delivered a tight, no-frills 20-minute set of aggressive, in-your-face hardcore. Their energy was focused and punishing, driving straight into the teeth of the pit. Their stripped-down assault perfectly bridged the gap between local fury and the heavyweights to follow.
SUNAMI (Metallic Hardcore – San Jose, CA)
Then the room exploded.
As Sunami hit the stage, the entire crowd came alive — jumping, swinging, diving, and losing their minds in unison. It was the first time the entire venue seemed airborne, and it stayed that way. Sunami’s set was a sledgehammer: thick breakdowns, hostile vocals, and zero let-up. They ripped through their material with terrifying precision, inciting walls of death, nonstop stage dives, and pure Bay Area energy translated into Italian chaos.
Revolver Club was turned into a pressure cooker of sweat, blood, and riffs. With a solid tour package, explosive local support, and a crowd that gave everything from start to finish, this show proved that hardcore is alive and violently well, both in Italy and beyond.
