Emerging from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, alternative metal outfit SEETHE are bringing a dark and uncompromising approach to modern nü-metal. Blending alternative metal, nü-metal, nü-metalcore, and trap metal influences, the project explores an aggressive sonic direction shaped by heavy atmospheres and emotionally charged themes. With releases such as “Psalms of the Dead Better Left Unsung and Unread” and “Grayscale Recollections” already establishing their presence, SEETHE continue to develop their identity within the underground heavy music scene.
Their new release, “Gaze,” is marking another chapter in the project's evolving catalogue. Previous releases showcase a strong emphasis on dark lyrical imagery, confrontational subject matter, and collaborations with additional vocalists, including Six Scars and Demo Demon on “In Tongues.”
Behind the project, Patrick McElravy has handled songwriting, vocals, and recording duties, while previous material has featured music contributions from Exor and production work from Gus Wallner of You Think Music. With a growing collection of releases and a willingness to explore different corners of alternative heaviness, SEETHE continue carving out their own space in Pittsburgh's underground metal landscape.
With “Gaze,” SEETHE continue pushing their sound into darker and more aggressive territory, combining the raw attitude of nü-metal with a modern alternative metal edge. Driven by an uncompromising creative vision and a willingness to explore the heavier, more unsettling corners of the genre, the Pittsburgh outfit are steadily building their identity within the underground scene. For listeners drawn to the darker side of modern heavy music, SEETHE offer another reason to keep their name on the radar and “Gaze” marks another step forward for a project determined to leave its own mark on the alternative metal landscape.
