ECHOCHAMBER Capture The Weight Of Life On The Road With New Single “Get The Lights”

Bristol, UK-based alternative rock outfit ECHOCHAMBER return with “Get The Lights,” their latest single and the final preview of their upcoming debut album, “Dead To Me.” Blending the raw emotional intensity of 2000s emo with the hazy textures of nu-gaze and alternative rock, the band create an immersive soundscape built around soaring vocals, nostalgic guitar riffs, and expansive walls of sound. Released through Year Of The Rat Records on November 6, the new track offers another compelling glimpse into a record shaped by personal experiences, emotional struggles, and the complexities of everyday life.

“Get The Lights” explores the less glamorous side of life in a touring band, confronting isolation, loneliness, resentment, and the strain of spending extended periods on the road while being separated from loved ones. The song captures the strange duality of constantly being surrounded by people while feeling completely alone inside your own head. Long drives, late nights, financial pressures, and living in close quarters with your closest friends can gradually turn even the strongest relationships into a source of tension.

Vocalist Jamie Fitzpatrick explains the personal experiences behind the track, highlighting the emotional challenges that come with balancing life on the road with the longing for home. It is an honest reflection of the sacrifices, frustrations, and complicated relationships that often remain hidden behind the excitement of playing live music.

Following previous releases “nothingchanges,” “fall apart,” and “netherworld,” ECHOCHAMBER have steadily gained momentum, earning coverage from Lambgoat, BBC Radio 1, Kerrang!, and Metal Hammer, alongside performances with Hacktivist and Eurotripp. Their debut album, “Dead To Me,” arrives November 20, 2026, followed by a UK and Ireland tour alongside Glass Bridges and more.
