Australian deathcore outfit TO THE GRAVE have unleashed their fifth studio album, LIBERATION FRONT, out now via BLKIIBLK Records. Coinciding with the album’s October 2 release, the Sydney-based band have also unveiled “LIMB FROM LAMB,” the record’s seventh track and latest single, alongside a new official music video. The album marks the band’s BLKIIBLK debut and continues their uncompromising confrontation of animal cruelty and environmental destruction through an intensely aggressive deathcore attack.
“LIMB FROM LAMB” takes a slower, more brooding approach than some of the album’s preceding singles, allowing its oppressive heaviness to build rather than relying purely on speed. Bassist Matt Clarke revealed that the song underwent significant changes during the recording process and was almost left off the album before vocalist Dane Evans’ lyric arrangement and vocal delivery brought the track together. That evolution ultimately helped shape one of the darker and more weighty moments on LIBERATION FRONT.
The new album sees TO THE GRAVE return decisively toward their deathcore roots after exploring more hardcore-oriented territory on recent releases. Across ten tracks, the band combine death metal-infused riffing, punishing blast beats and crushing breakdowns with a lyrical focus on animal cruelty, environmental destruction and humanity’s relationship with the natural world. LIBERATION FRONT was conceived during the band’s Australian touring in 2025 as a follow-up in spirit to Director’s Cuts, while also pushing the aggression of 2024’s Everyone’s A Murderer even further.
With LIBERATION FRONT now unleashed, TO THE GRAVE continue to turn their music into an uncompromising vehicle for their message. “LIMB FROM LAMB” adds another dimension to the record with its slower, darker and more suffocating character, completing the album’s run of pre-release singles as the full ten-track assault finally arrives. LIBERATION FRONT is out now via BLKIIBLK Records.
