RAMMSTEIN Bring “Sonne” Back To Life With Live In Mexico City Video

RAMMSTEIN have unveiled “Sonne” (Live in Mexico City), a powerful new live video capturing one of the defining moments from their monumental stadium tour. The performance was filmed in front of a sold-out crowd at Foro Sol in Mexico City and now offers fans another chance to experience the anticipation, scale and collective energy that surrounded the band's shows between 2019 and 2024. Across 138 concerts in 29 countries, RAMMSTEIN performed for approximately six million fans, turning each city into another chapter of the same enormous story.

From Berlin and Paris to Athens, Lisbon, Madrid, Los Angeles and Helsinki, the tour brought the band to stadiums around the world. Every show followed its own ritual: the journey to the venue, the anticipation inside the crowd, the final moments before the lights disappeared and, eventually, the first notes of “Sonne.” That shared instant became one of the most recognizable moments of the RAMMSTEIN live experience, connecting millions of fans across continents.

Now, “Sonne” returns in a performance recorded at Mexico City's Foro Sol, allowing that atmosphere to be experienced once again. The live video arrives as RAMMSTEIN prepare to release Rammstein – Live in Mexico City, the complete concert film documenting their stadium tour. The release will be available worldwide in multiple editions on November 20, 2026, with pre-orders now open.

For fans who want to experience the spectacle on the biggest possible screen, Rammstein – Live in Mexico City will also arrive in cinemas worldwide from November 4, 2026. “Sonne” offers a first-hand reminder of why the band's stadium shows became such a massive shared experience: six million fans, 138 concerts and 29 countries, brought together by the same unmistakable opening notes.
