Canadian metalcore outfit DESCAPE have released their new full-length album True Colors, arriving today, October 2, 2026, through Seek & Strike. The 11-track record marks another chapter in the Québec band's ongoing evolution, bringing together modern heaviness, melodic instincts and emotionally charged songwriting across a record running for more than 40 minutes. Alongside the album's arrival, DESCAPE have unveiled the official music video for its title track, giving “True Colors” a visual counterpart as the band officially open the next phase of their catalogue.
The title track follows several songs already introduced during the album campaign, including “Not At All,” “It's Time!” and “Property.” Together, the previously released material has offered glimpses into the record's balance between aggressive instrumentation and melodic songwriting, while True Colors expands that approach across eleven tracks. The complete tracklist features “Light Blue,” “Not At All,” “Property,” “By Yourself,” “In Love With Another Lie,” “True Colors,” “No Eulogy,” “Slowly Dying,” “It's Time!,” “What Comes After…” and “White Lies.”
“True Colors” now takes its place at the center of the album, arriving with an official music video on the same day as the full record. The release follows a steady run of DESCAPE material through 2026, with “It's Time!” serving as an earlier preview before “Property” continued the album campaign in September. The band's current era follows 2023's You Had It All But It Fell Apart, the Fake Denial EP from 2024 and As We All Wither from 2025.
With True Colors now officially out via Seek & Strike, DESCAPE have completed the latest chapter of their musical progression. The title track and its new video provide the final introduction to a record that brings together the band's heavier and more melodic sides, while the full 11-song album offers the complete picture of where the Québec metalcore outfit stand in 2026.
