BACKHAND BLUE Unleash New Single “Preaching To The Choir” In Official Music Video

Independent active rock outfit BACKHAND BLUE have released their new single “Preaching To The Choir,” accompanied by an official music video. The new track marks another step forward for the band, who have built their momentum independently while already earning two consecutive Billboard-charting singles. Fronted by vocalist Macy Addis and guitarist Eli Dykstra, BACKHAND BLUE have developed a growing presence through a combination of hard-hitting rock songwriting and a direct, modern approach that has connected with audiences across the United States.

“Preaching To The Choir” arrives as the latest addition to a catalogue that includes “Decay” and “Digging My Grave,” with the latter reaching No. 32 on Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay. The band have continued to demonstrate that an independent project can build substantial momentum without the backing of a traditional label, relying on their own releases, touring activity and growing audience to push their music forward.

The new single continues BACKHAND BLUE's focus on emotionally charged rock songwriting while giving Macy Addis' vocals a central role in the band's sound. With Eli Dykstra providing the guitar foundation, the track combines a strong rock backbone with the band's increasingly recognizable melodic approach, creating another release designed to translate from streaming platforms to the live stage.

“Preaching To The Choir” follows a period of considerable growth for BACKHAND BLUE, whose YouTube channel is approaching 1.3 million total views and whose previous releases have generated significant independent streaming and radio activity. With another new single now available alongside its official music video, the band continue building their own path and expanding the audience around their music.
