LIKE MOTHS TO FLAMES Complete Their Latest Chapter With “Tie The Ivy Through My Ribcage”, New EP Out!

LIKE MOTHS TO FLAMES have completed their latest release cycle with “Tie The Ivy Through My Ribcage,” the final single from their new EP, Does Heaven Ever Mourn For Me. Released September 18, 2026 through UNFD, the five-track EP brings together a collection of songs that the Ohio metalcore outfit began unveiling in October 2025, culminating in this final track. Produced by Landon Tewers of THE PLOT IN YOU, the release continues LIKE MOTHS TO FLAMES’ long-running approach to emotionally charged songwriting while placing their latest material into one cohesive body of work.

Running at just over three minutes, “Tie The Ivy Through My Ribcage” serves as the fifth and closing track on the EP. It follows “I Don’t Want To Be Here Anymore,” “How To Be Lonely,” “Where The Quiet Devours Me Whole,” and “Salting The Earth,” bringing the total running time of Does Heaven Ever Mourn For Me to approximately 16 minutes. Rather than arriving as another isolated single, the track completes a sequence that has been gradually assembled over the past year.

The new EP also continues LIKE MOTHS TO FLAMES’ collaboration with Tewers, who produced the material across the collection. The partnership adds another dimension to the band’s established heavy sound, while the songs retain the intensity and emotional weight that have remained central to their music. With the final previously unreleased track now available, Does Heaven Ever Mourn For Me can finally be heard as a complete release rather than a series of individual singles.
