Offering one last window into their long-awaited debut record, Travis Moseley reflects on "Lost in Translation," one of the earlier songs written for Who Sold You This Truth ++ Was It Yours To Hold. Confronting the disconnect between private struggles and shared experiences that often go unspoken, Moseley muses, "I'm fighting this battle by myself, trapped inside my own head. But the weird part is, we're probably all caught in the same illusion, even when we feel it alone."
Coated in a soothing, colorful atmosphere, "LOST IN TRANSLATION" pairs its understated pulse with Moseley's unmistakably emotive vocal delivery, offering another glimpse into the dynamic and nuanced world that Colorblind have built on their debut full-length.
Since forming in 2017, the Austin, Texas quartet has forged its own lane in modern heavy music, one captivating song, one sold-out show, and one explosive festival set at a time. They've grown into one of the scene's most compelling new voices, powered by breakout singles like "Motionless," "Needle Eye," and "Letdown" (as featured on SiriusXM Octane), racking up more than 30 million streams in the process. Early independent releases, including their self-titled EP, introduced that core, with songs like "Ghosts" revealing a deeply personal perspective that quickly resonated with listeners.
