BLACK SPIKES Drop New Single Video "Imperatorė"

Vilnius, Lithuania-based Modern metal outfit, Black Spikes have released a new single and music video "Imperatorė".

The band commented:

The song "Imperatorė" (engl. "Empress") is inspired by the story of the ancient Egyptian queen Cleopatra. This figure is portrayed as a charming, wise, and simultaneously indomitable character who is able to shape her own destiny and assert her power. The story of the song is also accompanied by flowers commonly found in Lithuania , named "Aconitum", also known as "wolfsbane." These flowers are notable for their bright blue petals and are often found in Lithuanian gardens. However, few people know that these flowers are among the most poisonous in the world, capable of fatally paralyzing the nervous system. It is believed that Cleopatra grew these flowers in her garden and used them to poison her enemies, including her two younger brothers, who later became her husbands.

Black Spikes is a heavy metal band from Lithuania. The band was formed in October 2018 by 4 ladies. 2020 marked the release of the band’s debut album “Šešėlių vedami” which contains 8 songs, written in Lithuanian language.
