THE SILVER LINES “…And The Lord Don’t Think I Can Handle It” EP Out Now!

Birmingham Alt-Rockers The Silver Lines release their hotly anticipated second EP "…And The Lord Don’t Think I Can Handle It".

Showcasing the explosive instrumentation, expressive spoken word vocals and intense sense of energy which has seen them acclaimed to date, the EP highlights what makes the quartet so special. Produced by David Radahd-Jones (formerly of the band Heaven's Basement), the 4 track release is raw, authentic and unyielding offering some of the bands most bold and exciting work to date.

Talking about their upcoming EP, the band explain:“...And The Lord Don’t Think I Can Handle It captures the energy of our live sound — angsty, bold, yet more introspective than their earlier records. The tracks depict the cyclical nature of our lives, swinging from chaotic moments to nostalgic reflections.”

Supported by a UK and European tour covering the UK, France, Spain and Germany, the EP is release following a flurry of tastemaker support across the likes of BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6 Music, Radio X (including two X-Posure Hot Ones), DORK, DIY, Clash, NME, Louder Than War, Ones To Watch, Notion, and Earmilk as well as Spotify Editorial Support, The Silver Lines have built a reputation as a touring band, playing on some huge stages including Trans Musicales - France to over 3,500 people, New Colossus Festival - New York and some dates in LA. Played at Stockton Calling, Focus Wales, MosFest, BBC Introducing stage at LakeFest, The Alternative Escape (The Great Escape) and opening for The Buzzcocks.
