Australian Metalcore quartet Heists have just released their hard-hitting new single 'Terminal Unrest' on Friday, September 27, 2024. The track marks a bold step forward for the band, seeing the group pushing the boundaries of what is expected of them and delivering the most explosive version of themselves yet.

'Terminal Unrest' signals a pivotal shift in Heists’ songwriting approach. Once confined by self-imposed boundaries, the band has now fully embraced a ‘nothing is off the table’ mentality. This new ethos has given them the creative freedom to explore new ground as a band and push beyond the limits of what they’d done before.

"We’ve pulled away the limitations and it’s injected new energy into the band,” shares bassist Sean Nevin. “We’re more excited about our music than ever, and the response since this change in mindset has been super positive, from both new and long-time fans alike."

Working with renowned producer Ionei Heckenberg (Ocean Sleeper, BMG) was instrumental in shaping the band’s sound on 'Terminal Unrest.'

Thematically, 'Terminal Unrest' is an anthem of resilience. "The song is about finding hope through the struggle," Chris adds. "It’s for anyone who feels overwhelmed by life’s challenges. We want our listeners to know they aren’t alone in feeling that pressure and that there is a light at the end of the tunnel."
