THE DARKEST MOMENT - Present Their Brand New Single "Sorrows"

Danish post-hardcore trio THE DARKEST MOMENT delivers a new take on the modern sound brought forth by bands such as Bad Omens, Dayseeker and Sleep Token. With hard-hitting, emotionally driven melodies and soaring choruses, accompanied by low-tuned instruments and expansive orchestral pieces, the trio is ready to present their brand new single 'Sorrows', from the upcoming EP 'Love & Loss':

"'Sorrows' is the follow-up to our first single 'Tragedy' and mainly focuses on the sorrow that a person might feel during a deteriorating relationship and with the loss that follows. The lyrics explore feelings of pain, sorrow and the confusion that can occur mentally, when everything seems to be falling apart around you. The song itself was intended to be a more simple and soft melodic piece that blossoms into a massive soaring second half, but ended up being one of the most emotional pieces of music we've ever written", guitarist and vocalist Oliver Kusk explains.

Since forming in late 2016, the trio has released a debut EP ‘Midnight’ (2018), their debut full-length album ‘The Darkest Moment’ (2019), including the single ‘Reality Stalling’ which gained more than 650k streams across platforms, later followed by the full-length album ‘Blindsight’ in 2021. In 2022 the band started writing and recording the new concept EP - themed around the loss of a loved one and the feelings that such a traumatic experience arises. Exploring these more sensitive subjects has brought a much more deep, dark, yet beautiful twist to the bands original sound, both lyrically and instrumentally. Produced, mixed and mastered by Timo Bonner (Our Mirage and Alleviate), THE DARKEST MOMENT is looking forward to presenting their new EP ‘Love & Loss’, set to be released in January 2024.
