UK raging indie punk rockers MOSKITO are today happy to announce their upcoming debut EP ‘G.R.I.M’ (short for Grief, Remorse Infected Manhood). The band have also shared lead single ‘Thrill Seeker’ which is out now on all platforms.
However bad the dark times have been - new lights will emerge and this is was absolutely the case as MOSKITO set out to create their debut EP ‘G.R.I.M’ - Out Friday 13th October 2023. Through fatherhood and brotherhood, this chapter has only unified them more.
Front man Jake Rudd shares - “The EP was written during a turbulent time of our lives. We have all suffered grief, chaos and mourning and fought our way back as warriors, often losing yourself in your own head during the process. Being lost in your head, partnered with seismic events in our lives, u-turned our creative space to a dark path and unwillingly thrusted us towards G.R.I.M era.”
Jakes brother and MOSKITO bassist Will Rudd continues to expand on their new single ‘Thill Seeker’ - “This song is a villainous tale of woe and deceit - showing a day in the life of an unhinged, volatile yet cunning criminal. A stalker who takes pleasure in committing unspeakable acts leading them on a treacherous path, a step too far, with a twisted mind like a worn out car. Once you know the meaning of this song you can't go back.”
MOSKITO released their debut mixtape ‘Bad Blood’ in January 2023 following a breakthrough 2022 from the East Midland reprobates. This seeing the band rightfully gain slots at Teddy Rocks Festival and LUME Festival throughout this year with the extra additions of Castlefest and Badlands Festival to come this summer.
