BROKEN LINKS - Present New Video "Fatalism"

BROKEN LINKS plough forward with the release of their hugely intriguing new video and single, Fatalism, out now below. The track is taken from the darkly alt-rocker’s current third album, Conflict::States, which has been widely praised for its engrossing guitar work, impassionate vocals, and electronic sound passages. The record has also snared extensive critical acclaim from Powerplay, ERB Magazine, and Moshville, as well as strong support from Amazing Radio.

Consisting of Mark Lawrence (Vocals & Guitars), Lewis Betteridge (Bass), and Phil Boulter (Drums), BROKEN LINKS have worked tirelessly to craft and shape an exclusive sound that breaks down genre boundaries and pushes the envelope. With a clutch of influences spanning from the Manic Street Preachers, Depeche Mode, and Nine Inch Nails to David Bowie and Massive Attack, the threesome unleash hugely enthralling goth-electro alternative rock that is tinged with post-punk and hints of pop-rock, taking the listener on a formidable aural experience.

BROKEN LINKS have assembled a strong and devoted fanbase enhanced by the release of a handful of very well-received EPs, and now, three full length albums. Live performances with the likes of British Sea Power, The Boxer Rebellion, InMe, My Vitriol, and The Chameleons, in the UK, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic and Italy, have greatly assisted with the band’s growth, and that progression is only set to increase with the release of the trio’s new single and video, Fatalism. Mark Lawrence talks about the motivation behind the track: “Many a time I’ve lost my sh*t in a job, and many a time I’ve seen people lose their sh*t in their job. And when I say lose their sh*t, I don’t mean blood boiling, anger-driven, all sh*it thrown out the window type-sh*t. I mean, sanity is gone, you’ve become your job. Your job owns you; your mind has turned to sh*t, and you’ve stopped following the path of life. Don’t let your mind occupy itself with things that will not matter when you reach the end of your journey.”
