So, liveconformdie (AKA 生 Conform 死) - what do you need to know? They're from Perth, Western Australia, they formed in late 2015 and they stand by their DIY ethic. Everything is written and produced in house at Guitarist Jez’s studio. They have an authentic, no-bullshit attitude. They don’t give a fuck about gate-keeping. They believe in putting out music that’s true to them and their values - and it's time for you to get the fuck onboard.

Now with almost 5 million total streams on Spotify alone, liveconformdie are levelling up again with their new single "Terrorwave". The new single is out now and the launch show happens in Perth, WA, on Friday November 19 at Lynotts Lounge with Idle Eyes, Fadeway and Lessfaith! Tickets are on sale 9am AWST Friday October 22 at Oztix.

When asked about the new single and what it's about, vocalist Troy Van Der Meer said that "There is honestly no deeper meaning about the track. We like cold night car cruises, Hardbass and screaming abuse at each other over Discord while playing Counter-Strike. This is Terrorwave."

Producer, Guitarist and Vocalist Jeremy said that "For the guitars, we wanted a fucking twangy screamer tone with a single-coil baritone guitar and that’s what we did. Finding a free amp sim online was difficult. Bass is rattle-city on fresh 174 gauge bridge cables. Somehow managed to get a relatively clean low end. Obviously Korn-inspired. DJ scratch bullshit was added last as to not disrupt the flow of the song too much. 24Souls annoyed us a lot as usual, but we pulled through. In our shitty opinion, DIY production delivers a more honest sound for us. Please stop offering your production services to us or else we will call the police."

They released their single "Blood Eagle" and debut album "Circa '94" in 2018 which in the first week, gained massive traction on triple j Unearthed and Spotify, receiving 4-star reviews from industry champs Dave Ruby Howe and Lochlan Watt. Blood Eagle went straight to #1 on the Unearthed Metal charts and made it into Howe’s Top 10 songs of 2018 on triple j Unearthed. The Blood Eagle music video received a WAM award nomination for Best Music Video of 2018. Follow-Up single "Luxury Letdown" dropped in 2019 and pushed liveconformdie into the next era of their career. The hype continued into 2020, once again being nominated for a WAM award for Best Heavy Act.
