GASSED UP - Release Protest Song "A National Broadmoor"

UK Hardcore/Metal outfit, Gassed Up, have released a new single and music video "A National Broadmoor".

Depicting the bands exasperation towards the ever-increasing divide between the rich and privileged and the working-class people of Britain, it is a demonstration of failures of those in a position of power to maintain the equilibrium and inability to deliver on the promises to the British people.

Stemming from the members personal experiences of the 2020 pandemic, ‘A National Broadmoor’ outlines the band’s shared frustrations with the huge governmental failures and corruption; not just with the pandemic, but with the general disregard for the public across the members’ lifetimes. The track not only makes reference to financial corruption, hypocrisy and safety procedures not being followed, but also to the heart-breaking case of Sarah Everett that became a powerful form of protest in 2021.
