LEFT IV DEAD - Drop Brutal Single "Shallow Grave"

Texas metal quintet Left IV Dead just dropped their latest single, “Shallow Grave.” The track is an instantaneous full-frontal aural assault. From the primal screams and guttural growls of co-vocalists Isaac Gonzales (former From Graves) and Giancarlo Fernandez (Halogen), to the crushing riffs that showcase the band's unique blend of groove metal, metalcore, deathcore and nu metal, “Shallow Grave” proves Left IV Dead mean business.

Lyrically, "Shallow Grave" is a message about the nature of man, “It speaks on mankind's self-deprecating nature, how we literally and metaphorically dig our own graves,” explains guitarist and founding member Ethan Wade. Along with the single, Left IV Dead has dropped a music video for Shallow Grave. The video, filmed by Bad Mantra, is a stylized performance video, featuring the band in their element.

Left IV Dead started as a creative outlet for guitarist Ethan Wade, after parting ways from his previous bands (A Tragic Setback). In early 2019 Left IV Dead released their debut EP, Devils. Five hard-hitting tracks showcased the band's developing style of dark and eerie soundscapes mixed with heavy grooves and energetic riffs. After the release, Left IV Dead went through some lineup changes, parting ways with their vocalist recruiting Devon Kruger (drums) and Austin Blades (bass).

In 2020, Left IV Dead held a public search for their next vocalist. After many submissions, the band narrowed the search to Isaac Gonzales (former From Graves) and Giancarlo Fernandez (Halogen). With their different vocal styles and without a clear choice on whom to choose, the band decided to get the best of both worlds and accepted both vocalists into the fold.

With the energy of a dedicated new lineup, Left IV Dead is working on their follow-up single, expected to be released this fall, and is currently writing material for their debut album. Left IV Dead can't wait to come out swinging!
