Metalcore outfit, Smile On The Sinner have dropped a music video for their new single "Wounds", taken from the upcoming EP "Nihilist", which is being released June 18th, via Modern Empire.

The band commented:

"Wounds" is Smile on the Sinner at our most vulnerable. This is us at our darkest points, dwelling and letting those feelings consume us. This is a song about accepting the darkness for what it is, and not trying to hide from it anymore. No more fake smiles, no more pretending everything is ok.

As most of you reading this can probably agree, the past year and a half has been an absolute nightmare. Plenty of us have had to be talked off of that ledge, and we've lost far more friends than we'd like to count. But we've learned along the way, that not only is it *ok* to ask for help, it's necessary. Please, if you are struggling, do not hesitate to reach out to somebody, and do not quit fighting.

This video is an incredibly intimate look into things I've personally experienced in my life. Some situations are nightmare scenarios of what could have been, other situations are exactly how they happened, but all of the conversations are true-to-life, and therefore the langue used in the conversations are kept true to how they happened. We apologize ahead of time for the language used in the video, but we felt it necessary to keep these situations as real as possible.
