PURE - Release New Single "Daze Off" + Accompanying Music Video

Independent Las Vegas-based experimental alternative rock band Pure - Chase Long (ex. Taking Sides and A Friend, A Foe) and Shane Hansen (drums) - released their brand new single "Daze Off" today with an accompanying music video. The song was recorded/mixed/mastered by Joshua Bearden (Nevermore Recordings).

During the inception of this single, the band decided that they wanted to offer something fun during this time where it feels like a lot of that is lost. The band hopes that this track shines a light in all the darkness.

Taking inspiration from the 90's grunge and early 00's nu-metal for this single the band describes "Daze Off" as a reflection of what can happen to a man when his heart turns cold to the world around him.

Pure is a 2-piece experimental alternative rock band hailing from Las Vegas, Nevada that was founded by Chase Long and drummer Shane Hansen in 2017. After having cycled through lineup changes and experimenting with different sounds and images the band settled on having it remain a 2 member band in 2019. Since their official start in 2019 the band has played a show with After The Burial and have accumulated over 120,000 views on their debut music video for "H-Bomb" in just a short few months.

The band takes inspiration from bands such as Linkin Park, Ocean Grove, and Bring Me The Horizon for their sound. With every release they plan they looking to open the door for their sound to go wherever their minds can take it and not limiting it to one specific genre.

The band doesn't have any plans on slowing down any time soon, with plans to release a lot more music in 2021.
