Channelling emotive drive, colossal riffs, and infectious melodies, OHNOVA take from a range of sources, spanning from Queens Of The Stone Age through to Don Broco. The Scottish power trio have just revealed their ultra-magnetic new single and video, "Nobody Move".
Born in Glasgow in 2018, OHNOVA consists of Paul Morton (Bass & Vocals), Matthew Sharp (Guitar) and Ciaran Whyte (Drums). The threesome quickly connected and soon dropped their debut EP, I Can’t Sleep, to a raft of rave reviews. This enabled OHNOVA to support both international and domestic touring bands, as well as tour the UK, and garnered them widespread global radio play. The rising alt-rockers have also just signed to Reaction Management.
The band headed to the studio at the start of this year to work on their brand-new single, Nobody Move. Paul Morton (Vocals/Bass) comments about the single: “‘Nobody Move’ is about love and trust, dedicated to my wife as I work away a lot. It’s a reminder that I’m always coming back and am ‘bound to her alone’. It’s a massive, hyper-melodic rock song with a driving rhythm and is the best song we’ve ever written.” 2020 is destined to belong to OHNOVA. With a new single, shows in the works, and another record set to drop in the Summer, the band’s reach is limitless.
