A few days after sharing the music video of the single "Leap Of Faith", Swiss post-hardcore/heavy-post-rock/metal collective Darius just shared another excerpt from its upcoming effort with "Men Er Grah" available right now on SoundCloud and YouTube.
This new track - like the previous one - will feature on their new full-lengh album called 'Voir', recorded by Amaury Sauvé (Birds In Row) @ The Apiary Studio (France) and coming out on April 17, on CD, LP & Digital through Hummus Records (COILGUNS, Emilie Zoé, Rorcal...) & Digital on all legal platforms (Spotify, Deezer, Apple Music, Amazon...).
Following the releases of «Grain» and «Clôture», Darius' third opus «Voir» lives up to their reputation. After heading to Laval(FR) to meet with young producer Amaury Sauvé (Birds in Row), the five Fribourgers came back with a massive record whoseoverview is worthy of a CinemaScope western.
Their twenty-two guitar strings compose a surprising orchestral landscape thatmasterfully oscillates between abstract noise rock and instrumental post-rock. Their playing has refined although it hasn’tsoothed; Darius’ formula stays the same. Being poles apart from effects, manners and make-up, these five lads play for thesake of passion, honor and camaraderie.
