HOLD FAST HOPE - Release New Music Video "Messengers"

Long Island quartet Hold Fast Hope wants everyone to know one thing, never give up on your dreams and goals. That's the essence of their new ambient, post-hardcore single "Messengers."

"It's about fighting through life," says guitarist/vocalist DJ Deane. "The struggles and shadows that follow us through every step of growth or for some in this case, lack of growth. It’s a story about being haunted by our dark urges, addictions, fear, anxiety and having someone in our corner whom we never listen to. A person who truly believes in us and tries to send us the message that could save us, whether or not we listen. In the end the messenger watches us fail; over and over, repeating remedies that haven’t worked whilst we point a finger at them avoiding our truth."

Thriving somewhere between moody grunge and washed out emo, lives "Messengers." The track was produced, engineered and mixed by Nicholas Starrantino at In-House Recordings, and mastered by Mike Kalajian at Rogue Planet Mastering

Hold Fast Hope marked their formation in early 2016 with the release of their debut single “Fortune Favors.” Boasting influences from Thrice and Glassjaw to Foxing and Citizen, the four piece blends alternative and post-hardcore melodies with an overlying ambient texture. In 2018, they released their debut EP Traitors, produced by Dom Nastasi & Mike Watts at VuDu Studios (Glassjaw, Gates, Hail The Sun).
