Italian duo Blacks0n is debuting on the worldwide scene with their first single, "On the Wings of Defeat", out now today via Famined Records. A video for the track can be seen below!
The band, including former Damned Spring Fragrantia (Basick Records) guitarist made a bold choice with its first single: without conforming to genres or formulas, the duo fires on all cylinders and takes inspiration from various genres, from Metalcore to Deathcore and Mathcore. If it's been a few years isnce you've ever heard of The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza and their disbanding has left a void that can't be filled in your heart (and phone), fear no more, as Blacks0n are here to remind fans that good ol' Mathcore and groovy Deathcore aren't dead yet.
We spoke to Andrea, one half of the band, about the song and EP it's taken off of: "This EP is the ensemble of all our art experiences. We‘ve poured our soul into this. We hope the audience and new fans can immerse themselves in the narrative and swim into our stream of consciousness. Furthermore, we are very glad for the chance that the Famined family has given to us. We are confident, this is our art, our music at its best."
