Be sure to think about where you want to sleep after a long day at the festival. Numerous lodgings are already full or only have a few units left. Metal Park is already completely booked and Metal Town has very few spots left. More information about lodgings at GMM19 can be found here.

Other news: the Metal Dome podium has been renamed the Red Bull Music Metal Dome! Collaboration between Red Bull, Red Bull Music and Graspop Metal Meeting will reach new heights this year with a new name and a new layout of the Metal Dome. A place where you can party until the early hours. A place where you can see the wilder bands at work and a place where you can discover three talented bands from Belgium on the eve of the festival.

Are you a Belgian band and would you like to try and gain a slot on the podium of the Red Bull Music Metal Dome? Apply via before Monday, 22 February at 12 noon. Provide all your information and some whistles and bells. Selected bands will be contacted personally. Pieter Coolen of Toxic Shock, a Red Bull Music 2018 band, thinks back on his show every day: “Really cool to see all those people let it rip. The audience was into us from the first chord. A wonderful feeling because we don't always perform in front of 5000 people. Red Bull Music gave us a gigantic stage to do our thing. I'd love to do that every day!” More info via the Red Bull Music website here.
