FAMINEHILL - Release Visualette for "Ruin", Announce Debut Full Length "Ascend"

Today, Hungarian quintet FAMINEHILL are proud make their comeback on the scene, since 2015, with a brand new track, and quite a few announcements: the new visualette for "Ruin" is premiering right now via Dreambound on YouTube, and idobi Howl as well for the week, while their debut album, "Ascend" will be out April 5th, on their new label, Famined Records.

Blending riffs and aggression reminiscent of Wage War with soothing, full of passion and mesmerizing clean vocals, FAMINEHILL bring to the table a formula that, while not new, it's certainly well executed. The heavy passages are groovy and head-banging inducing, and the clean vocals deliver quite a punch that, along with the lyrics, might hit close to home for some people. The passion the band has, and how it's delivered, are what makes them stand out.

Tamás (guitar, clean vocals) gave us a bit more insight on the single: "Ruin is a mixture of anger and bitterness, it's aggressive but melodic. The song is about losing someone close to you. As we try to overcome grief, anger is one of the many stages of a long and painful process. It is all about dealing with injustice, when a good person passes away too soon and you cannot overcome the fact, specially when people who deserve half the kindness of this world are still thriving, living an easy life, and the ones we hold dearest aren't here with us anymore."

You can pre-order "Ascend" here.
