ONE LAST DAY Share Monumental Debut LP "Echoes In The Silence" + Video For Emotive Release Single "Hollow Gods"

Following the release of their phenomenal 2025 EP, Eyes Like Glass // Thoughts Like Fuel, UK alt metal unit One Last Day have at last shared their full length debut LP, Echoes In The Silence, via self-release. Alongside the release of the album comes a video for its emotive release single "Hollow Gods", directed by Shaun Hodson (Loki Films).

An amalgamation of both their 2025 EP, as well as six all-new tracks, One Last Day's debut LP takes you on a journey through the band's past, present and future. They describe the LP as "spanning the breadth of art and humanity’s struggling against the AI revolution, self-reflection on your internalisations, accounting the cost of existence vs what we leave behind."

They continue, digging deeper into its themes: "Sonderous realisations that people’s experiences of you echo on regardless of your own journey, self imprisonment, keeping the fire alive, the torment of not knowing how long we have, appreciation and recognition of the people who keep you safe and a good bit of dystopian realisation to cap it off."

Eyes Like Glass // Thoughts Like Fuel saw the UK metallers reach new heights, with its lead single "Still Breathing" being heavily praised, and receiving radio play from the likes of Kerrang!, and being described by Grave Noise as“Oozing passion, showcasing explosivity, and delivering powerful melodies that are undeniably infectious." Now, just north of a year later, we have Echoes In The Silence, a monumental debut from one of the UK's most exciting rising names.

Equal parts blistering, emotive and infectious, One Last Day's grasp on riff-heavy alternative metal is acute and precise. "Hollow Gods" only bolsters this notion, with a planetary chorus; a slick, grooving bridge, and a deeply emotive undercurrent, with the band describing the track as "the tortured reality of trying to be an artist in an ever more AI dominated world".

Echoes In The Silence doesn't allow itself to sit in one lane, however. Between the pummeling "Lost & Blind" seeing the band venture further into heavier territory, juxtaposed entirely by the reservedness of "Don't Go Under", which sees One Last Day explore the idea of finding solace in a chaotic, exhausting world. It's the truest spread of One Last Day's repertoire to date, and one that demands your attention from beginning to end.
