PHOTO SHOW REPORT - FOR TODAY, SILENT PLANET, NOVELISTS, I WATCH MOUNTAINS GROW - 4TH APRIL 2016@VIPER ROOM, VIENNA; AUSTRIA

We went on a road trip to Vienna, Austria to catch two shows, first For Today with Silent Planet and Novelists and the next day in Gasometer with Atiila and Hollywood Undead.

Once again, the promoters of Capital City Agency did a great job whit bringing us this great tour package. The club Viper Room is in the center of the town, so the parking wasn't an easy task but we had a warm sunny day and the walk wasn't such a problem. There is also subway right on the spot. The club was already nicely packed.

The show started like usual with some local support in the vest of I Watch Mountains Grow and their progressive core, this are thier words. They almost started a mosh.

The next on stage where french guys from Novelists with their progressive metalcore and the mosh was guaranteed.
We could hear all their singles from Immedicable, Souvenirs, Voyager, Gravity, etc.

Silent Planet had for sure more audience then previous time in Vienna, like  vocalist Garrett said "We had six people last time we where here". They made an intense show with their atmospheric metal core and Garrett was few times in the crowd singing with them barefoot. Definitely a band to catch up live.

It was already time for headliners of the tour , For Today presenting their new album "Wake" out on Nuclear Blast records. They've been away for four years from the oldest continent. We had a chat just few minutes before the show with guitarist and clean vocalist Ryan, check out below.
This was the fourth date of a tour and the band put up a good show. We could hear the new stuff like No Truth No Sacrifice, Broken Lens, Forced Into Fire, Wasteland among the hits like Break The Cycle, Fight The Silence, Molotov and the final an encore Fearless.

None of the band disappointed us. Conclusion….a really beautiful day with tons of great music behind us.  See you again for sure!
