KORN

It turns out that the recent trailer teasing a Family Values stop this year was not entirely indicative of the final lineup. The clip, which showcased past performers alongside Korn and revealed the years the tour had taken place, was only meant to hype the 2013 show and not meant as the definitive lineup.
Korn will in fact head up the 2013 bill on Oct. 5, but with support that includes Hollywood Undead, Asking Alexandria, Machine Gun Kelly and Beware of Darkness. The show is scheduled for the 1st Bank Center in Denver according to a new posting on the band’s Facebook page.
The date comes right in the midst of Korn’s fall tour, which is in support of their upcoming album, ‘The Paradigm Shift.’ It’s not much of a coincidence that Asking Alexandria are also part of this special date as they are one of the support acts on Korn’s fall tour. However, Love and Death, the other band on Korn’s fall tour, are not on the bill, perhaps just to give Korn guitarist Brian “Head” Welch a night off from pulling double duty.
‘The Paradigm Shift’ is due in stores and via online retailers on Oct. 8 via Prospect Park. It’s currently available for pre-order via iTunes and Amazon.
