Los Angeles alternative rockers AURORA VIEW continue building anticipation for their upcoming full-length album, Rot Star, with “bite the bullet (KMS),” a track featured on the record’s 14-song tracklist. Scheduled for release on December 4, 2026, through Out Of Line Music, Rot Star finds the band exploring an emotionally charged sound that brings together the weight of alternative rock and jagged electronic textures. The album promises a darker, more exposed chapter for the project, drawing from a broad musical palette that stretches across hard rock, industrial rock and electronic influences.
AURORA VIEW operate with a focused lineup featuring Dylan Handrich on vocals, Aaron Handrich on bass and Kyle Roy on guitar. Their sound moves through contrasting textures, balancing the direct impact of rock instrumentation with electronic elements and an atmospheric edge. Rather than settling into one predictable direction, the project embraces a more unconventional approach to alternative rock.
“bite the bullet (KMS)” appears as the seventh track on Rot Star, positioned between the interlude “miasma” and “GIMP.” The album also includes previously released material such as “Butterfly,” “ima dog,” “GIMP” and “See you in hell,” alongside the closing track “4LAYLA” and “the world is rotting and so are you,” featuring CRYXIS. The record was mixed by Courtney Ballard, whose credits include Waterparks, All Time Low and 5 Seconds Of Summer.
With Rot Star approaching, AURORA VIEW are preparing to take listeners through a record shaped by emotional weight, distorted edges and restless sonic experimentation. Mark December 4, 2026, for the album’s arrival through Out Of Line Music.
