BRAT Debuts Disserting New Music Video "Spit On His Grave" - European Live Dates Supporting Napalm Death - New Lp, "Manslayer", Out Now!

Fast-rising U.S. metal powerhouse, BRAT, today releases a music video for the new song, "Spit on His Grave". The payback-pushing track appears on BRAT's new album, 'Manslayer', a record that sees BRAT vocalist, Liz Selfish, pen trope-turning lyrics of women’s revenge, in which they take their power back. Inspired by country music songs like “Goodbye Earl” by The Chicks, “Before He Cheats” by Carrie Underwood, and “Gunpowder & Lead” by Miranda Lambert, the thematic angle of 'Manslayer' introduces a fresh new perspective to underground metal, causing NPR to proclaim, "BRAT is poised to celebrate its true breakthrough with Manslayer, a record destined to become essential listening in the metal genre."

Stream a video for "Spit on His Grave", directed by Jeff Van Gerwen, at this location. The release of the new BRAT video advances the band's United Kingdom run of headlining live dates, which kick off on October 28.

'"Spit on His Grave" is one of our favorite songs to play live!,' says Selfish. "It’s a very in-your-face, high energy song, and in true BRAT form we wanted to make the video campy and high energy as well."

Immediately following the United Kingdom shows, BRAT will join extreme music luminaries, Napalm Death, as guests on the British band's "Campaign for Music Destruction" tour, which will launch on November 6 and run monthlong through December 6. BRAT, who were just anointed as the first metal act ever to perform live at the New Orleans Jazz Museum, has definitively scaled up its ambition, sound, and vision with ‘Manslayer’. The concepts are more ambitious, the music more widescreen, and it all is bound to translate into absolute mayhem live. For a full listing of upcoming BRAT tour dates, click here.

In addition to Liz Selfish, BRAT features guitarist Brenner Moate, Dustin Eagan (drums), and Ian Hennessey (bass). Find BRAT online at BratBand.com and follow the band on Apple Music, Bandcamp, Facebook, Instagram, Spotify, TikTok, YouTube, and X.

BRAT is available to speak with interested media. To chat with the band, request a review copy of 'Manslayer', and/or attend a live performance, simply contact Carl Schultz at Action! Public Relations.
