RAMMSTEIN Ignite “Armee Der Tristen” With Live In Mexico City Video

RAMMSTEIN are opening the doors to their long-awaited Live In Mexico City concert film with “Armee Der Tristen,” giving fans the first full taste of a massive performance captured during the band’s three sold-out shows at Mexico City’s Foro Sol in October 2022. The song, originally released on the band’s 2022 album Zeit, now takes its place as the opening track of the forthcoming live release, bringing the scale of RAMMSTEIN’s stadium era into a new visual and audio document.

“Armee Der Tristen” opens Live In Mexico City with the kind of imposing presence that has defined RAMMSTEIN’s stadium productions. The live recording captures the band performing in front of approximately 65,000 people per night, with the three Mexico City concerts drawing nearly 200,000 fans altogether. The performances formed the finale of the North American leg of the band’s Stadium Tour.

Live In Mexico City was filmed across the three concerts on October 1, 2 and 4, 2022, with filmmaker Paul Dugdale directing the concert film. The complete release features 23 songs spanning RAMMSTEIN’s career, including “Deutschland,” “Du Hast,” “Sonne,” “Ich Will,” “Adieu” and “Te Quiero Puta!”, alongside “Armee Der Tristen.” The live album and physical editions are scheduled for release on November 20, 2026, while the concert film will arrive in cinemas worldwide from November 4.

With “Armee Der Tristen,” RAMMSTEIN offer the first glimpse into a concert document built around one of the defining chapters of their stadium era. Live In Mexico City captures the band at enormous scale, preserving the intensity of those Mexico City performances for audiences far beyond the stadium walls.
