Atlanta, GA -- Progressive emo band, Tied In Knots, are sharing their merciless new single, "Scarlet Rot,"on September 18 via Tough Luck Music, distributed by Arson Theory Records. Alongside the new track comes a music video themed towards Devour, an independent film that the song is featured in.
"Scarlet Rot" is the band's follow-up single to "Tanglewood" and is the band's first new release since their EP, FULL GLOOM, released early this year.
"Scarlet Rot," is featured on the soundtrack for Devour, a movie that follows a struggling all female metal band called The Virginia Bitches who get ripped off by a concert promoter. Seeking help they come across a group of cannibals headed by an infamous warlock in the small remote town of Crimson City. The cannibals get a surprise when they find out the girls have a specific taste for blood. Tied In Knots capture the chaos of the film while showcasing the band's ability to create cinematic dynamics of their own.
