Swedish rap-metal pioneers CLAWFINGER return with a new festival vlog capturing their experience at Sweden Rock 2026, an annual gathering that transforms the small village of Norje into a global hub for hard rock. Every June, over 40,000 fans and more than 90 bands unite across five stages, creating one of Europe’s most iconic festival atmospheres. This year marks the band’s fourth appearance at the festival, reinforcing their long-standing connection to the event and its community.
The vlog opens with frontman Zak Tell taking center stage as both narrator and comedic guide, delivering his signature humorous commentary and playful “Minions-style” vocal antics. From the outset, the tone is lighthearted, setting the stage for a behind-the-scenes journey that blends festival life with the band’s unmistakable personality. Zak also breaks down the journey south of Sweden, joking about the six-to-seven-hour drive to Norje as the trip officially begins.
The road trip segment sees Zak and keyboardist/backing vocalist Jocke Skog hitting the highway together, soundtracking the drive with energetic rave music while trading jokes along the way. A pit stop for food and rest adds to the relaxed, documentary-style feel before the band members eventually reunite at the festival grounds, ready for a weekend of chaos, crowds, and celebration.
Once on site, the vlog captures both downtime and performance energy. The band enjoys the first day soaking in the festival atmosphere before taking the stage on day two. Zak humorously remarks that stepping onto the main stage feels like “being Axl Rose,” leaning into the playful exaggeration that defines much of the vlog’s tone. The set includes fan favorites such as “Two Sides,” “Price We Pay,” and “Do What I Say,” with crowds joining in loudly for the choruses, turning the performance into a shared moment between band and audience.
After the show, the atmosphere remains celebratory as friends, fans, and band members come together in a relaxed post-performance hangout filled with laughter and music. The vlog closes where it began, with Zak and Jocke once again on the road heading home, bringing the journey full circle. The final moments show Zak back at his apartment, frozen pizza in hand, unwinding and jamming music—an understated ending to a loud, chaotic, and deeply human festival experience.
