Emerging from the Danish hardcore scene, SPLIT delivers a fierce and uncompromising sound, combining raw intensity with sharp songwriting and explosive energy. Following the release of recent singles such as ‘Greater Than God’ and ‘Sunk Cost Fallacy’, the band now unveil their new EP ‘A Thousand Reflections’ alongside the official video for the final single and focus track, ‘The Shepherd’.
“‘The Shepherd’ is our favorite song to play live because it pulls us completely into the moment every time. It also captures exactly what we in SPLIT aim to express through our music: raw, honest emotion delivered through hard-hitting hardcore. Together with the EP intro, ‘The Sheep,’ the track explores the feeling of not always knowing what’s best for yourself - and the desire to let someone else make those choices for you”, the band explains.

SPLIT was formed in 2024 with a clear vision - to push the boundaries of hardcore and bring the genre to new audiences. Since then, they have released their debut EP ‘2300’, a tribute to their hometown and a bold introduction to their sound. Building a name for themselves through intense and uncompromising live shows across Denmark, the band has already marked major milestones, including a performance at Roskilde Festival in 2025. With Copenhell 2026 up next, they are further cementing their rise within the Danish heavy scene.
The new EP ‘A Thousand Reflections’ is produced by Benjamin Jeppesen and Chris Kreutzfeldt, and mixed and mastered by Kreutzfeldt (CABAL, Unseen Faith).
“'A Thousand Reflections' marks a new chapter for us. Since our debut EP '2300', we’ve grown as both a band and as people, and that evolution shows in the music. The new material is heavier, more refined, and leans further into the hardcore side of our sound while also feeling more raw and personal. It’s a big step forward for us, and a glimpse of where SPLIT is headed next. 2026 is going to be a crazy year”, the band explains.
