Renesans (pronounced "Renaissance") is the brainchild of viral extreme vocal coach and frontman David Benites, culminating all of his expertise in face-melting screams, impactful songwriting, clever production, and wisdom that only years of insider industry experience can bring. The Boston-based metalcore band just released their latest single "Split Brow" — listen BELOW!

"Split Brow" is David Benites' debut as a producer and mix engineer. Meanwhile, the single artwork was designed by Andy Glass of We Came As Romans.

When speaking about the new track, Benites shares, "I threw relatability out the window and wrote 'Split Brow' about one of the hardest times in my life I had to fight my way out of. We wrote the music in an unorthodox way to show the power Renesans has live, and we road-tested it on tour last year unreleased. Every night, it was the highlight of the show for our fans old and new. This one is so personal I knew exactly what the song needed to sound like, so after a long time coming I stepped up to the plate to mix and master."

He finishes, "I want to combine the raw, unfiltered soul of the music I was raised on in the 2000s with the excitement and punch of today, and 'Split Brow' was the perfect song for me to take this first step into production for myself and any band that comes my way."
