Paleface Swiss have released the first episode of their new North America Tour Diaries series titled Wild Geese & Spiderman, documenting the band’s chaotic and emotional first leg across the United States and Canada. The episode offers a raw behind-the-scenes look into tour life, balancing explosive live moments with personal reflections, exhaustion, humor, and complete unpredictability on the road.
The vlog begins in Buffalo before launching into live footage from the opening shows of the run. Frontman Marc Zellweger — better known to fans as Zelli — delivers personal updates throughout the episode, openly discussing the physical and emotional toll of touring while reflecting on the highs and lows experienced between performances. According to Zelli, the Grand Rapids show quickly became one of the standout moments of the tour, while guitarist Yannick Lehmann shares his fascination with American venues displaying “sold out” plaques on venue walls whenever bands completely pack out the room.
Beyond the stage, the episode captures the band diving headfirst into the randomness of tour life. From searching for vinyl records and nonstop backstage goofing between Zelli and Yannick to helicopter rides over Mount Rushmore, the vlog constantly shifts between chaos and genuine camaraderie. Zelli also proudly shows off a newly purchased raccoon hat while the band later joins Luigi for a shopping trip hunting for jackets before continuing deeper into Canada.
The final stretch of the episode focuses on the band exploring Canada’s landscapes, renting a car to drive through nature and visit lakes before fully embracing local culture by shopping for hockey jerseys and merchandise. Closing out the vlog, Zelli reflects on Calgary becoming what he describes as the best show the band has ever played, ending the episode on a triumphant note while promising even more stories, madness, and unforgettable moments still to come from Paleface Swiss’s North American journey.
