WAYNE STATIC and TERA WRAY Unauthorized Documentary Set for January 9 Premiere in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, CA — The unauthorized documentary by filmmaker Matt Zane chronicling the lives of Wayne Static and his wife, Tera Wray, is set to premiere January 9 in Los Angeles, California, despite ongoing legal controversy surrounding the project.

The premiere comes amid a reported $1 million lawsuit filed against Zane by Static-X, along with the director’s claims of enduring death threats and intense online scrutiny over his decision to continue moving forward with the film.

Despite the challenges, Zane remains committed to bringing the story of Wayne Static and Tera Wray to the screen.

“It has been an incredibly difficult journey getting to this point, but regardless of everything I'm going through, I wasn't going to let Wayne and Tera down. Their story deserves to be told, and it's what they wanted,” said Zane.

The private event will take place in Los Angeles, with a post-screening Q&A featuring the director and select members of the film's cast. Press representatives and fans are welcome to request attendance, although seating will be limited.

Those interested in attending the premiere should email **[email protected]** for RSVP information.
