SLAM BAND Make Their Debut With “The Album” And Unleash “C**AINE MANE” Video Featuring FILTH

SLAM BAND are bringing a deliberately unhinged sense of humor to the underground extreme music scene with the release of their debut album, The Album. Alongside the record, the project has shared the official music video for “C**AINE MANE,” featuring FILTH. Built around crushing heaviness, outrageous satire, and an unapologetically absurd identity, SLAM BAND embrace the more ridiculous side of extreme music without holding back on the brutality.

The project brings together a lineup of familiar names from the underground. FILTH vocalist Dustin Mitchell joins guitarist David Gantt, bassist Austin Fortenberry, and drummer Jonathan Grigg, alongside SERPENT’S BREATH guitarist Zack Dufort. Their combined efforts create a side project that takes the punishing foundations of slam and pushes them into deliberately over-the-top territory.

“C**AINE MANE” puts that attitude on display, with FILTH contributing to a track that pairs the project's extreme approach with its irreverent personality. The accompanying video gives the collaboration its own visual statement, matching the track's outrageous character.

Rather than treating itself as another straight-faced extreme metal project, SLAM BAND lean into satire and absurdity as part of their identity. The Album introduces that approach in full, bringing together the musicians behind the project for a release that refuses to take itself too seriously while keeping the heaviness firmly intact.

With their debut album out and “C**AINE MANE” featuring FILTH now accompanied by a new video, SLAM BAND are ready to make some noise in the underground.
